'Intelligent Driving' demo at Kettering opens window to future of travel

I didn't feel very intelligent behind the wheel Monday afternoon of a 2016 Volkswagen Passat before a driving demonstration on the testing grounds at the General Motors Mobility Research Center on Kettering University's campus. Keith Confer, engineering manager of advanced systems for Troy-based Delphi Technologies, offered directions for me to step on the "kill switch," a red button left of the brake and gas pedals.
