Ann Arbor

The Ann Arbor region is a destination for mobility, home to research and development for global brands including Toyota and Hyundai. Located here is University of Michigan’s Mcity, a 32-acre test facility that simulates the broad range of complexities vehicles encounter in urban and suburban environments. The Ann Arbor region is also home to the American Center for Mobility, a U.S. Department of Transportation designated non-profit testing and product development facility for future mobility, designed to enable safe validation of connected and automated vehicle technology. Autonomous vehicle manufacturers May Mobility and NAVYA also call the Ann Arbor region home, drawing on the vast talent pool and existing infrastructure and support to fuel their growth.
