PlanetM Landing ZoneWhere Mobility Meets Auto

Located in the heart of the automotive industry, the PlanetM Landing Zone provides a physical entry point for global mobility startups interested in doing business with automotive companies in Michigan. Founded by the Detroit Regional Chamber, Michigan Economic Development Corp., MICHauto and WeWork, the Landing Zone helps start-ups and businesses connect, share, and collaborate to drive innovation in next-generation mobility. The mission is to make it as easy as possible for the world's best mobility companies to bring their innovation to market in Detroit.

Mobility startups in the Landing Zone benefit not only from the close proximity to automakers and suppliers, but also wrap around services from leading economic development organizations in the region, and speed to access to key services and partners in the market. Along with subsidized and flexible co-working space, Landing Zone members also receive strategic introductions to leading North American automotive firms, and  access to a network of expert partners that can offer assistance with legal, capital, talent and marketing services.

Automotive OEMs and suppliers can also engage as partners of the PlanetM Landing Zone to connect with global startup companies that are members to explore emerging technologies and potential partnerships.
